The Silver series of shoes was introduced to provide all the advantages of the teardrop shaped frame unique to Crescent Moon with components that make it lower in price than the Gold series of shoes. The lightweight Silver 9 is designed for recreational snowshoers who want an athletic performance from their equipment. It is recommended for snowshoers in all conditions, up to 195lbs and features a simple cam-locking buckle binding system made of waterproof materials that will not come loose even in very wet conditions. The Silver 9 is an excellent all-around shoe with a 3 claw aluminum traction system to provide you and your family with a great snowshoe experience. The binding will accommodate a wide range of shoe sizes and can be shared with all members of your group.

The Siver 10 is recommended for recreational snowshoers up to 225 lbs including your gear and is designed for on or off trail fun. The simple cam-locking buckle system is easy to use and provides a comfortable fit for shoe sizes up to 13. For a shoe that provides great flotation in deep snow the Silver 10 is remarkably lightweight and maneuverable. The polished aluminum frame features a more durable dark ice-blue decking for the 08/09 season to last longer and go further with your Silver 10s.

Women's Recreational
Making a shoe specifically for women was a good idea in 1997 so we expanded the choices and created a series of shoes for women. The Silver 13 is the same frame as the Gold 13 but features a lightweight aluminum crampon system and new for the 08/09 season is a more durable ice-blue decking to give you the perfect combination of strenght and weight. Like the other women's shoes in the Crescent Moon line, the Silver 13 has an exaggerated teardrop shape to make it easier to walk and snowshoe than traditionally shaped shoes to provide you with an athletic and natural stride.

Expedition Recreational
Like its Gold cousin, the Silver 17 is one big-daddy snowshoe. It is recommended for snowshoers and their gear (that's a big picnic) up to 300lbs. But the shoes themselves are very lightweight and even if you're carrying a load you'll appreciate the simple cam-locking buckle binding system and lightweight maneuverability of the Silver 17. New for the 08/09 season is the more durable dark ice-blue decking featured on all the Silver series of shoes. Although the Silver 17s are one of the largest snowshoes on the market they're by far lighter and easier to navigate than traditionally shaped shoes and feature a binding system that won't freeze or come loose even in the wettest conditions.
