Women's Series

Women walk differently than men with your feet closer together and passing by each other with less space between your feet – that’s why we designed the women’s series of shoes to accommodate your natural stride so you don’t have to change the way you normally walk. We also build them with a smaller diameter tube to make them lighter and easier to walk in. You'll find Crescent Moon’s women's series shoes to be much more comfortable than a traditionally shaped shoe and as a result, a lot more fun. We guarantee it!

Crescent Moon was the first snowshoe manufacturer to design a women's specific model and series of shoes to accommo-date the differences of a woman's stride. The Gold 13 features a frame which has been bent with a very steep nose and tapered tail to allow the shoes to pass by each other without changing the way you normally walk. With each step, the shoes will clear away from each other within the distance of your own natural stride. With the new 09/10 changes to the binding system you'll should expect an even greater snowshoe experience than ever before.

Women's Silver 13

Making a shoe specifically for women was a good idea in 1997 so we expanded the choices and created a series of shoes for women. The Silver 13 is the same frame as the Gold 13 but features a lightweight aluminum crampon system and new for the 09/10 season is the redesigned binding for increased comfort and response. . Like the other women's shoes in the Crescent Moon line, the Silver 13 has an exaggerated teardrop shape to make it easier to walk and snowshoe than traditionally shaped shoes to provide you with an athletic and natural stride..

The Women's Gold 15
Backcountry

The Gold 15, built for women and their gear weighing up to 200lbs, is uniquely designed for backcountry conditions. The tapered tail and steep nose design allows for a natural stride but with a surface area that supports you on or off the trail. New for the 09/10 season is an enhanced SPL binding system which in combination with the added stabilizer provides even greater control and maneuverability.. Like all the Crescent Moon snowshoes, the teardrop shape is a more athletic design than any other brands available and will provide you with a better snowshoe experience because of it.
